Lawyers representing Sugarland have fired back in the lawsuit filed against them over the stage collapse in Indianapolis last summer. They are denying that the band should be held responsible for the wind-driven collapse, which killed seven people and injured more than 40. Sugarland's attorneys point out that they had no involvement in the construction of the stage since it wasn't erected for their sole use, and that it wasn't their responsibility to cancel the show for inclement weather. Their response also states, "Some or all of the plaintiffs failed to exercise due care for their own safety."  That’s nice- they are blaming their fans!!!

Joe Nichols and his wife Heather have announced they're expecting their first child in the spring. According to People magazine, the couple had been trying for some time. Joe says, "I have to give all the credit to my wife. She has been a trouper through all of this and I am so happy." The two were married in 2007, and Joe has a 13-year-old daughter Ashelyn from a previous relationship.

Taylor Swift's love life remains a topic of interest, and an appearance with Zac Efron on Ellen only amped things up – Ellen kept asking if they were dating and they KEPT denying it!!!  But they did sound good together on a duet during the show!!

MIRANDA LAMBERT isn't ready to let the whole CHRIS BROWN performing at the Grammys controversy go away.  And neither are her fans. Miranda was launching into "Gunpowder & Lead" at a concert when she noticed someone holding a sign that read, quote, "Take notes Chris Brown."  She ran to the front of the stage, grabbed it and then showed it to the entire crowd.  She said, “beating up on a woman is never okay.  So that's why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun."   

You and I know Chris Brown's smartest move would be to stay quiet and let this whole thing die.  But he won't.  On Saturday he Tweeted, quote, "Using my name to get publicity?  I love it!  Perform your heart out!"He followed that up with, quote, "Go buy @miranda_lambert album!  So motivational and "PERFECT"!

Craig Campbell will headline the pre-race concert at Sunday's Daytona 500. He'll perform for 90 minutes in the Midway Fan Zone prior to the flag drop at 1:00. Rocker Lenny Kravitz will also be performing before the race.

Martina McBride sees the same crazy Blake Shelton that we all see on Twitter and The Voice, but she feels a great connection to him as well. She says, "I just think underneath all of that craziness is a really good person." She's also a big fan of Mrs. Shelton -- Miranda Lambert.  Martina joins us TOMORROW on the show!

Rodney Atkins was cleared of domestic assault charges in a hearing yesterday.  On November 21st, his wife, Tammy, called the police and charged that he'd tried to smother her with a pillow and grabbed her face. Rodney denied the charges and filed for divorce. Rodney has passed court-ordered anger-management and alcohol and drug assessments, so no further action will be taken. He says, "I am so thankful for all those that chose to withhold judgment while keeping my family and I in their prayers."

Songs from Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley are among those included in the new Xbox Kinect game Country Dance All Stars. And fortunately for Luke, the game includes a sing-along element along with dancing. Although he danced as a kid, he says, "Now my knees hurt too bad to drop it like it's hot." Country Dance All Stars comes out next month.

Next Monday, MTV is doing a worldwide launch of TAYLOR SWIFT'S new video "Safe & Sound", featuring the CIVIL WARS. The song's on "The Hunger Games" soundtrack and a lot of people think it'll be huge.  (--The movie opens March 23rd.)
