MARTINA MCBRIDE brought a 13-year-old audience member on stage to sing with her in Nashvillethe other night. . . and the girl was totally up to the task.  She got a standing ovation and Martina actually sat down and then let her finish the song by herself.  The young lady is Kate Falcon FROM BIRMINGHAM! 

On the job at American Idol, Keith Urban says he’s doing his best to keep the peace between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. While on the New York Film Festival red carpet with wife Nicole Kidman Wednesday, Keith described himself as, “the UN,” when refereeing the two judges. 

Reba McEntire says a sense of humor is one of the ingredients in what makes a true Southern belle. She tells Ladies Home Journal the other ingredients are "Southern principles, morals...respecting my elders. I don’t take some things as seriously as other folks."  Reba also tells the magazine she's been in the studio recording new music -- some which will be used in the new sitcom Malibu Country, which debuts on November 2nd on ABC.
