LeAnn Rimes is reportedly among the celebrities in the running to fill the vacancy left by judge Sharon Osbourne on America’s Got Talent. OK! magazine reports that she, Shannen Doherty and Carly Simon are the frontrunners.  And apparently, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel don’t have contracts for next season, so there might be more than one spot open at the judges’ table.

 

Luke Bryan is number-one this week with his single “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye,” the third chart-topper from his album Tailgates and Tanlines. “I Don’t Want This Night to End” and “Drunk on You” went number-one earlier this year, and the platinum-selling single “Country Girl (Shake It for Me)” peaked at number-four in August.

Rascal Flatts and Nashville’s Hayden Panettiere have been named co-hosts of the CMT Artists of the Year special, airing December 8th. The 90-minute special celebrates a group of honorees who have made an impact on the format in 2012.

Jason Aldean has added more dates to the 2013 Night Train tour. The first leg kicks off February 21st in Bossier City, Louisiana and hits 23 cities through May. Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett will be the opening acts.
