Carrie Underwood is a candidate to replace Faith Hill as the singer for the Sunday Night NFL theme. TheSportsBank.net says Will.i.Am of the Black Peas is also in the running. The announcement is expected to come Tuesday around 3 p.m. CT. Faith has performed the theme song since 2006.
The nominees are out for the "2013 CMT Music Awards" . . . and MIRANDA LAMBERT, LUKE BRYAN and ERIC CHURCH lead the pack with four nominations each. You have until June 2nd to cast your vote. The show airs June 6th.

A singer named Amy Bowen is suing BRAD PAISLEY and CARRIE UNDERWOOD for copyright infringement . . . claiming their song "Remind Me" is a rip-off of a song she wrote in 2007. Bowen says she performed the song at a workshop that Brad's co-writers attended . . . and they stole it and re-wrote it with Brad. She's asking for $10 million.
ERIC CHURCH says when he first started out he could only get booked at clubs filled with, quote, "big, bearded tattooed bikers." He says "that journey" is why he has a broader appeal outside just country music. And that explains why Eric is one of the few country acts invited to play Lollapalooza.

Brantley Gilbert and Jana Kramer are working on their fitness together, getting ready for their upcoming nuptials. Brantley tells CMT that moving in with Jana has inspired him to adopt a healthier lifestyle. He says, “She eats like a bird. My snacks are being cut down, and I have to hide my Cheetos and Doritos and stuff.” But Brantley doesn’t seem to mind though!
In case you missed it, Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough are rocking it on Dancing with the Stars! They did a near-perfect Samba on the show Monday. The dance earned them a 29, and gave them immunity from being voted off last night. It was Andy Dick who got sent home.
