Carrie Underwood is a candidate to replace Faith Hill as the singer for the Sunday Night NFL theme. TheSportsBank.net says Will.i.Am of the Black Peas is also in the running.  The announcement is expected to come Tuesday around 3 p.m. CT. Faith has performed the theme song since 2006.

The nominees are out for the "2013 CMT Music Awards" . . . and MIRANDA LAMBERT, LUKE BRYAN and ERIC CHURCH lead the pack with four nominations each.  You have until June 2nd to cast your vote.  The show airs June 6th.

TIM MCGRAW released his official video to "Highway Don't Care".  Tim plays a doctor who treats a girl that got in an accident while texting and driving.  But hey, he is shirtless at one point.  It also includes TAYLOR SWIFT singing backup and KEITH URBAN playing guitar. Three country acts will be performing at this year's "Today Show Summer Concert Series".  HUNTER HAYES will take the stage on June 21st . . . THE BAND PERRY on August 2nd . . . and LUKE BRYAN will perform on August 16th.

A singer named Amy Bowen is suing BRAD PAISLEY and CARRIE UNDERWOOD for copyright infringement . . . claiming their song "Remind Me" is a rip-off of a song she wrote in 2007.  Bowen says she performed the song at a workshop that Brad's co-writers attended . . . and they stole it and re-wrote it with Brad.  She's asking for $10 million.

ERIC CHURCH says when he first started out he could only get booked at clubs filled with, quote, "big, bearded tattooed bikers."  He says "that journey" is why he has a broader appeal outside just country music.  And that explains why Eric is one of the few country acts invited to play Lollapalooza.

MIRANDA LAMBERT made her third trip in a row to the Kentucky Derby . . . and wore yet another hat.   By the way- “Mama’s Broken Heart” hit number one today making it her 4^th!

LAUREN ALAINA will perform her song "Barefoot and Buckwild" on Thursday's "American Idol".

KRISTEN BELL will host this year's "CMT Music Awards" again, but TOBY KEITH was NOT asked back as her co-host.  No word yet on his replacement.  It doesn't sound like Kristen will miss him though.  She Tweeted, "Yay!  Heading back to Nashville to host the #CMT Awards, June 5th!  This year I have an awesome, new co-host!  Who do you think it will be?"

FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE allowed the audience to inform them how big their song "Get Your Shine On" would be.  BRIAN KELLEY explains, quote, "We were in the studio and we muted everything so you could hear just the crowd.  Everybody was singing every word, so we knew it was going to be the best."

KENNY CHESNEY is donating proceeds from downloads of his song "Spread the Love" to victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.  The fund will help pay for prosthetics, physical therapy and continued health care.  You can find out more and make a donation at KennyChesney.com.

TIM MCGRAW'S fight to the death with Curb Records has taken yet another turn.  Now they're suing him for copyright infringement . . . claiming he was still under contract with Curb when he recorded the songs from his latest album "Two Lanes of Freedom". 

Brantley Gilbert and Jana Kramer are working on their fitness together, getting ready for their upcoming nuptials. Brantley tells CMT that moving in with Jana has inspired him to adopt a healthier lifestyle. He says, “She eats like a bird. My midnightsnacks are being cut down, and I have to hide my Cheetos and Doritos and stuff.” But Brantley doesn’t seem to mind though!

In case you missed it, Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough are rocking it on Dancing with the Stars!  They did a near-perfect Samba on the show Monday. The dance earned them a 29, and gave them immunity from being voted off last night.  It was Andy Dick who got sent home.
